SMILING PEANUT web hosting is pleased to announce an update to our weekly offsite hosting backups. Thanks to the work of our team, we now provide offsite backups of the following information:
- All filesystem and statistic information
- All mySQL databases and file structure
- All mail stored on the server as well as the mail queue
While we have been performing weekly backups for some time, until recently this has only included the standard filesystem. Now, you can be assured that if data is ever lost that there are safeguards in place to maintain the integrity of your data.
Our automated backups take place at 11:00pm MST every Sunday evening.
If you need data restoration or have accidentally deleted a needed file from your site, please open a Help Desk ticket in Plesk and we will do our best to assist you. Currently, there is no charge for this service. This is provided as a convenience to our clients, and is by no means guaranteed as a condition of service.
